Yenching Scholars Info Session

Seigle 204

Yenching Academy's Associate Dean John Holden, former president of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, will introduce this new, highly selective international scholarship program on October 12th at 6:00 PM in Seigle Hall 204.  We welcome interested students and applicants to attend and learn from Dean Holden about this full scholarship opportunity to pursue a Master's in China Studies.  Dean Holden will answer questions about the application process and this past year’s first cohort of scholars.

Yenching Academy (www.yenchingacademy.org) offers interdisciplinary coursework and field study taught in English.  There is no requirement of Chinese language proficiency.  The program is located in the center of the Peking University campus, and is designed to ensure that Yenching Scholars are fully integrated into life at China's premier university.  This scholarship is open to U.S. and international citizens.

Washington University is a partner university of Yenching Academy and will internally assess and nominate candidates.  For more information, contact Dr. Helen Human at hhuman@wustl.edu in the Office of Overseas Programs.
