Jordan | Political Science & Anthro

Studying abroad in Jordan was definitely one of the best decisions I have made at Wash U. Amman, Jordan was the perfect place to tie together my coursework in Political Science, Anthropology, and Arabic, and living there for a semester enabled me to dive deeper into the language and culture of the region. I loved talking to my host mom about everything from how to make the best hummus to her experiences as a Palestinian from a family of refugees. Because I had such an amazing experience, I highly recommend study abroad to every Wash U student, no matter where they choose to study. But if you’re looking for the world’s best falafel sandwiches, Jordan is the place to go!
